The best movers in Singapore

Nine movers in Singapore that move homes within the island and hold a current bizSAFE workplace safety certificate. Each certificate was read on the Workplace Safety and Health Council's register in its file dated 7 October 2026. bizSAFE is about how a company manages safety at work; it does not rate service. Shalom Movers and CYC Movers come first because, among the figures the nine give for their own businesses here, theirs are the largest: over 200,000 and over 144,000 completed moves. The other seven follow by how long each company has been registered with ACRA. Each entry gives the certificate, the kinds of move handled, what is published on prices and on cover for damage, and how to reach the mover.

What we weigh for this list

For this category we weigh:

  • Whether the Workplace Safety and Health Council's bizSAFE register shows a current certificate, and at what level
  • For overseas moves, whether FIDI's directory lists it with a current FAIM certificate
  • How long it has been registered with ACRA, set against what its own site says
  • Which moves it handles: within Singapore, overseas, storage, disposal
  • Whether it publishes prices, and how it quotes
  • What it says about insurance and its liability for damage
  • What it says about its size: moves completed, staff, vehicles
  • Whether an address, a phone line and an email address are published

1. Shalom Movers

Best for A large home move within Singapore: a fixed-price quotation and payment on completion

The Workplace Safety and Health Council's bizSAFE register, in its file dated 7 October 2026, shows Shalom International Movers Pte. Ltd. at bizSAFE Level 4, approved on 5 December 2023 and valid to 4 December 2026. bizSAFE is the Council's workplace safety programme. The Council says Level 3 and above recognises that a company has systems to manage workplace risks, assessed by an auditor registered with the Ministry of Manpower. Its site says its staff are 'BizSafe 4 Certified'.

Says it has completed more than 200,000 moves across Singapore, with over 200 certified movers and packers and over 80 vehicles. Its home page gives a higher figure: over 230,000 residential moves.

Its site says Shalom Movers was formed in 1982. ACRA's dataset shows Shalom International Movers Pte. Ltd., the company its site names, was incorporated on 24 July 2014. Two earlier companies at the same address were incorporated before it: Shalom Movers Pte. Ltd. on 8 December 1998 and Shalom Transport Services Pte Ltd on 28 August 1985.

Moves homes within Singapore (HDB flats, condominiums and landed houses), furniture, pianos and offices; ships households overseas by sea freight, working with partner movers abroad; and offers storage, disposal and lorry rental. FIDI's directory of 12 affiliates in Singapore does not list it.

Publishes no price list. Says a site survey is free, that its quotation is a fixed price based on the number of items and not on weight, and that payment is taken on completion of the move.

Says insurance options are available and that cover varies with the premium chosen; for a move that is to be insured, the items must be packed by its own staff.

Shalom Movers is first because it reports more completed moves than any other mover here gives for its business in Singapore: more than 200,000. It also states a crew of over 200 movers and packers and a fleet of over 80 vehicles, and the bizSAFE register shows its company at Level 4, valid to 4 December 2026.

It publishes no prices, but it says how it quotes: a free survey, a fixed price by the number of items, and payment on completion of the move. Its site dates the business from 1982; the company it names was incorporated in 2014, and two earlier Shalom companies at the same address in 1998 and 1985. For an overseas move it works with partner movers abroad, and FIDI's directory does not list it.

2. CYC Movers

Best for Seeing starting prices before you call, from the one mover here at bizSAFE STAR

The Workplace Safety and Health Council's bizSAFE register, in its file dated 7 October 2026, shows CYC Movers (SG) Pte. Ltd. at bizSAFE STAR, approved on 9 March 2026 and valid to 23 February 2029. bizSAFE is the Council's workplace safety programme. STAR is the last of its five steps, and the Council says it requires a workplace safety management system certified to ISO 45001 or Singapore Standard 651. Its site says it gained ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification in 2026.

Says it has completed more than 144,000 moves. Its company page gives a different figure: more than 30 thousand families, businesses and government entities served.

Its site says CYC Movers has been moving since 2003. ACRA's dataset shows CYC Movers (SG) Pte. Ltd., the company its site names, was incorporated on 29 August 2018; an earlier business named CYC Movers was registered at the same address on 14 May 2003 and has since been terminated.

Moves homes and offices within Singapore, relocates households overseas, moves IT equipment, laboratories and events, and offers short- and long-term storage. Its site lists offices in Beijing and Shanghai. FIDI's directory of 12 affiliates in Singapore does not list it.

Its price guide of 25 February 2025 gives starting prices by home size: from S$250 for a studio apartment, S$300 for a 2-room HDB flat, S$400 for a 3-room, S$500 for a 4-room, S$600 for a 5-room, S$800 for a condominium or private apartment and S$1,000 for a landed property. It says the final bill also depends on distance, fragile or heavy items, the level of service, packing, extra services such as storage, and timing. The guide does not say whether the prices include GST.

Says it provides insurance coverage for all its moves, with basic and comprehensive options.

CYC Movers is second because its count of completed moves, more than 144,000, is the second-largest that any of the nine gives for its own business here. It is also the only one of them that the bizSAFE register shows at STAR, the programme's last step, valid to 23 February 2029.

It is one of two movers on this page that publish prices: its guide starts at S$300 for a 2-room HDB flat and S$1,000 for a landed property. It moves homes within Singapore and overseas, and says insurance is provided on every move. Two things to weigh: its company page gives a much lower figure, more than 30 thousand customers served, and the company its site names was incorporated in 2018, after an earlier business of the same name registered in 2003.

Asian Tigers Singapore is third, the first of the seven movers ordered by age: its company, K.C. Dat (Singapore) Private Limited, was incorporated in 1963, the earliest registration on this page. 9. Move Move Movers

The Workplace Safety and Health Council's bizSAFE register, in its file dated 7 October 2026, shows Move Move Pte. Ltd. at bizSAFE Level 3, approved on 15 October 2025 and valid to 14 October 2028. bizSAFE is the Council's workplace safety programme. The Council says Level 3 and above recognises that a company has systems to manage workplace risks, assessed by an auditor registered with the Ministry of Manpower. Its own site gives the same level and expiry date.

Says it has completed over 80,000 moving and related jobs, with a team of 40 to 50 people and about 14 vehicles. Its About page says 13 moving trucks.

Its site says it was founded in 2019. ACRA's dataset shows Move Move Pte. Ltd. was incorporated on 6 July 2019.

Moves homes (HDB flats, condominiums and landed houses) and businesses within Singapore, and offers storage, disposal and delivery. Enquiries and moving operations run daily from 8am to 11pm, public holidays included. The pages read offer no overseas moves.

Its 2026 price guide, GST included, charges by the trolley load where access is standard: S$85 for one load, S$100 for two, and S$40 for each load from the third, so six loads come to S$260. Packing or unpacking is S$150 for the first hour with three workers and S$75 for each further half-hour. The final price is confirmed in a written quotation once it has checked the items and the access.

Its insurance page says transit insurance is optional: the premium is 1.5% of the declared value, with a minimum of S$150, and the excess on a claim is 5% of the sum insured or S$500 per item, whichever is higher. Without insurance, it says its liability is at most S$100 a move.

Questions readers ask

What does a mover cost in Singapore?
Two of the nine movers on this page publish prices. One gives starting prices by home size: from S$250 for a studio apartment, S$300 for a 2-room HDB flat, S$400 for a 3-room, S$500 for a 4-room, S$600 for a 5-room, S$800 for a condominium and S$1,000 for a landed property; its guide does not say whether GST is included. The other prices a standard move by the trolley load, GST included: S$85 for one load, S$100 for two and S$40 for each load after that, so six loads come to S$260, with packing at S$150 for the first hour. Both treat these as starting points: the first says the final bill also depends on distance, the kind of items, packing, extra services and timing, and the second confirms its price in a written quotation once it has checked the items and the access. The other seven publish no prices and quote on request; three of them say the survey or the on-site quotation is free. None of the nine publishes a rate for an overseas move. Ask each mover for a written, itemised quotation, and ask what could change the price on the day.
How do I choose one?
Start with where you are moving. All nine move homes within Singapore; two of them offer no overseas moves on the pages read, and the other seven also move households abroad. For an overseas move, FIDI's directory is a list you can check yourself: it shows four of the nine with a current FAIM certificate. Then compare what each mover puts in writing: whether the quotation is a fixed price, what it includes, and who pays if something is damaged. One mover on this page states that without insurance its liability is at most S$100 a move, so read the cover terms before you sign. bizSAFE, the certificate every mover here holds, shows that the company's management of workplace risks has been assessed; it says nothing about prices or care with furniture. This page found no public register that rates movers on service, so the comparison is yours to make.
What should I check before paying?
First, who you are dealing with. Every entry on this page shows the mover's UEN, the Unique Entity Number, which you can look up free on ACRA's BizFile search to confirm that the business is registered and live. A bizSAFE certificate can be checked too: the Workplace Safety and Health Council publishes a file, which it says is updated every two weeks, showing a company's level and expiry date by UEN or name. Second, prepayment. CASE, the Consumers Association of Singapore, said consumers lost about S$134,000 in prepayments to movers in 2024, due in part to large deliveries that were not delivered and goods lost during moving. Ask how much is payable before the move and when the balance is due; one mover on this page says it takes payment on completion of the move. Third, cover. Ask whether insurance is included or optional, what it excludes, and the limit of the mover's liability without it. Get the quotation, the list of items and any insurance terms in writing before moving day.
