Ranked SG privacy policy
This page says what information is collected when you visit rankedsg.com or write to us, and what you can do about it.
When you visit
The site has no accounts, no forms and no comments. You can read every page without telling us who you are.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages are read. It sets cookies in your browser, one named _ga and a second whose name begins with _ga_, to tell one visitor and one visit from another; by default they expire after two years. When a page loads, your browser sends Google the address of that page and your IP address, and Google Analytics collects approximate location and browser and device information. Google says that Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. Google’s page, How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, explains what it does with this information.
Apart from Google Analytics, a page loads nothing from any other company: the fonts and pictures come from the site itself. The site is served through Cloudflare, which receives each request your browser makes to the site, with your IP address, in order to deliver the page.
When you write to us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in your message. We use them to answer you and to deal with what you raise, such as checking and correcting a page. Ranked SG has no newsletter and no mailing list.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. The pages read the same without them.
- Google offers the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google says that, once installed and enabled, it disables measurement by Google Analytics for any site you visit.
- You can write to us to ask what information of yours we hold, to have it corrected, or to have your messages deleted.
