The best pet groomers in Singapore

Six pet groomers in Singapore, each with a salon of its own, a live ACRA registration and room for new customers. No licence is needed to groom pets here: the Ministry of National Development told Parliament on 9 September 2024 that there is no licensing regime for pet groomers, and none had been announced when this page was written. No public register ranks groomers either. AVS, the Animal & Veterinary Service of NParks, sets minimum standards in its Code of Animal Welfare, whose annex for pet groomers it updated on 3 October 2026, but it keeps no list of groomers. So the six are ordered by how long each has been registered with ACRA under its name, from 2006 to 2021. The Singapore Kennel Club, a private club, publishes a list of appointed grooming establishments; it names two of the six, and every entry says whether it is on that list. Each entry also gives the pets taken, the salons, the published prices, what the groomer says about handling and booking, and how to reach it.

What we weigh for this list

For this category we weigh:

  • How long it has been registered with ACRA, set against what its own site says
  • Whether the Singapore Kennel Club's list of appointed grooming establishments names it
  • Which pets it grooms, and where: its salons, and house calls
  • Whether it publishes its prices, and which extra charges it lists
  • What it says about handling: where pets wait, whether owners may watch, cameras, muzzles
  • Its deposit, cancellation and vaccination terms, where it publishes them
  • Whether an address, a phone line and an email address are published

1. Masmasgroomers

Best for Dog owners who want rates published by size, and a pick-up service

Its site says it has been grooming pets since 2003. ACRA's dataset shows a business named Masmasgroomers Pet Grooming Centre was registered on 29 December 2006 and has since been terminated, and Masmasgroomers Pet Grooming Centre Pte. Ltd. was incorporated on 9 April 2010.

The Singapore Kennel Club's list of appointed grooming establishments, read on 8 October 2026, does not name Masmasgroomers. It names a grooming school, Supergroomers Pets Academy Pte Ltd, at 477 Sims Avenue, the address Masmasgroomers gives, appointed on 20 June 2017 and valid until 31 December 2027. Masmasgroomers' team page lists Singapore Kennel Club Class C results among the credentials of 3 of its groomers.

Grooms dogs only on the pages read: a shower, basic grooming, or full grooming with scissoring and styling, with spa and skin treatments and transport to and from home. It has one centre, at Sims Avenue, open Tuesday to Sunday from 10.15am to 7.30pm and closed on Mondays and public holidays.

Publishes its rates by the size of the dog. Small breeds: full grooming S$80 to S$95, basic grooming S$50 to S$60, a shower S$30 to S$40. Medium breeds: full grooming S$100 to S$130, basic grooming S$60 to S$70. Large breeds: full grooming S$170 to S$230, basic grooming S$100 to S$130. A full scissors trim adds S$10 to S$40 by size. It says the actual price is set during grooming, after it has assessed the dog's cooperation, size and coat, and lists possible extra charges: S$50 an hour for removing mats and tangles, for de-shedding or for removing ticks, and up to S$20 for hyperactivity or aggression.

Its FAQ says dogs wait in holding cages, which it says are cleaned and have air-conditioning and water, and that owners should not stay to watch, because an owner's presence can excite the dog. Its terms say a muzzle may be used on an aggressive dog and that it may refuse or stop a session if a dog cannot be groomed safely. It offers a re-trim if the owner is not satisfied: within 2 days on its FAQ page, within 3 days in its terms.

Sells prepaid grooming packages. Its package page gives a Gold Package at S$599, for which it credits 634 credits, and says in one place that packages are valid for 24 to 36 months and in another that the Gold Package expires in 12 months. Its home page says it accepts CDC vouchers for grooming.

Masmasgroomers is first because it has the earliest registration of the six: ACRA shows a business of that name registered in 2006, and the present company in 2010. Its own site dates the business to 2003.

It grooms dogs only, at one centre in Sims Avenue, and publishes a full table of rates by size, from S$50 for basic grooming of a small breed, together with the extra charges that can be added. It is plain about how it works: dogs wait in holding cages, owners do not stay to watch, and a re-trim is offered if the result disappoints. The Singapore Kennel Club's list does not name Masmasgroomers itself; it names a grooming school at the same address.

2. Animal Arts Academy

Best for Owners of dogs, cats, rabbits or guinea pigs who want a salon inside a pet shop chain, with published rates

The Singapore Kennel Club's list of appointed grooming establishments, read on 8 October 2026, shows a certificate appointing Animal Arts Academy, 9 Kensington Park Road, as an appointed dog grooming establishment, appointed on 17 August 2014 and valid until 31 December 2026. The Kennel Club is a private club that holds grooming certification examinations; the pages read do not set out its rules for appointment.

Its site says it was co-founded in 2006 and began as a salon at VivoCity. ACRA's dataset shows Animal Arts Academy Pte. Ltd. was incorporated on 2 May 2007.

Its site says it is a subsidiary of Pet Lovers Centre, the pet shop chain, with a network of 14 pet grooming salons. Its contact page lists 5 grooming locations: its own salon and school at Serangoon Gardens, and salons at Fur Flow at Serene Centre, The Pet Safari at VivoCity, Pet Lovers Centre at Kembangan and The Pet Safari at The Star Vista. All 5 are listed as open from 10am to 7pm; the Kembangan salon is closed on Mondays.

Grooms dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs: basic or full grooming, baths, spa treatments and colouring, with house calls and a pet taxi. Its Serangoon Gardens salon also offers a lower-priced student cut for dogs.

Publishes its rates. Basic grooming: small dogs S$50 to S$68, medium dogs S$62 to S$85, large dogs S$85 to S$192, cats S$85 to S$108, rabbits S$50 to S$62, guinea pigs S$45. Full grooming: small dogs S$90 to S$128, medium dogs S$105 to S$198, large dogs S$148 to S$298, cats S$175 to S$198, rabbits S$90 to S$105, guinea pigs S$78. A bath alone is S$32 to S$52 for a small dog. Under additional services and fees it lists S$22 for a senior stylist and S$45 for a director, S$20 to S$100 for de-matting or de-shedding, S$80 for house call services and S$45 for the pet taxi.

Animal Arts Academy is second: ACRA shows its company incorporated in 2007. It is a grooming school as well as the grooming arm of a pet shop chain, and the Singapore Kennel Club's list of appointed grooming establishments names it; its appointment dates from 2014 and runs to 31 December 2026.

It takes dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs and publishes rates for each, from S$50 for basic grooming of a small dog. Its two counts of salons differ: the site speaks of a network of 14, while its contact page lists 5 grooming locations, so check which one is near you before booking.

3. Pawpy Kisses

Best for Dog owners near Balestier who want a price list broken down by breed and cut

Its site says Pawpy Kisses began in 2013 selling pet apparel and opened its first shop in November 2014. ACRA's dataset shows a business named Pawpy Kisses was registered on 19 June 2014 and has since been cancelled; Pawpy Kisses Pet Supplies & Services Pte. Ltd. was incorporated on 27 March 2017, and Pawpy Kisses Hub & Services Pte. Ltd., whose UEN the site gives for payments, on 16 March 2020.

The Singapore Kennel Club's list of appointed grooming establishments, read on 8 October 2026, does not name Pawpy Kisses. Its grooming page describes its groomers as certified and experienced and does not say who certified them.

Grooms dogs at one salon, at 238 Balestier Road; its pet supplies shop is at 232 Balestier Road. It offers basic grooming, full grooming in a choice of cuts, and spa treatments. Its grooming page says cat grooming is unavailable until further notice, and so is its pet transport service. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm; closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Publishes a price list that it calls an estimate. For its first group of breeds, such as Shih Tzu and Maltese, basic dog grooming is S$55 to S$65 for a mini or toy size, S$65 to S$75 for a small-medium size and S$75 to S$90 for a medium size. Full grooming for a mini or toy size of 1 to 5kg is S$85 to S$95 for a puppy cut, S$120 to S$130 for a teddy bear cut and S$130 to S$150 for full scissoring. Poodles, and a third group of breeds such as Pomeranian and Corgi, have their own tables. It says the price depends on the dog's actual size and that additional charges may apply.

Asks that a puppy complete its 3 vaccinations before its first grooming and that dogs be free of ticks and fleas. It asks owners to say beforehand if a pet is aggressive, and says it will stop a session if a pet is overly aggressive, because going on may cause the pet more stress.

Pawpy Kisses is third: ACRA shows a business of that name registered in 2014, and the company that now takes its payments in 2020. It works from one salon in Balestier.

Its price list is the most finely divided on this page, by breed group, size and style of cut, from S$55 for basic grooming of a toy-sized dog, though it calls the figures an estimate. Two limits are stated on its own grooming page: cat grooming and the pet transport service are both unavailable until further notice, so for now it is a salon for dogs that owners bring in themselves. The Singapore Kennel Club's list does not name it.

4. The Pets Workshop

Best for Owners who want a salon that says it has CCTV in every outlet, and a separate room for cats

The Singapore Kennel Club's list of appointed grooming establishments, read on 8 October 2026, shows a certificate appointing The Pets Workshop, 5 Tampines Central 6, #01-10 Telepark, as an appointed dog grooming establishment, appointed on 2 May 2024 and valid until 31 December 2029. The Kennel Club is a private club that holds grooming certification examinations; the pages read do not set out its rules for appointment.

Its site says it has served pet owners since 2021, starting from a small shop in Tampines. ACRA's dataset shows The Pets Workshop Pte. Ltd. was incorporated on 11 May 2018. The pages read name no company.

Grooms dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. Its contact page lists 4 salons: Tampines Telepark, Serangoon NEX, Clarke Quay and Kovan. At Telepark it runs a separate grooming space for cats, which it says dogs may not enter, and a grooming school. The pages read give no opening hours.

Publishes its rates. Basic grooming: small dogs S$40 to S$50, medium dogs S$55 to S$85, large dogs S$80 to S$170, cats S$65 to S$85, rabbits S$40 to S$70, guinea pigs S$35. Full grooming: small dogs S$85 to S$105, medium dogs S$95 to S$145, large dogs S$125 to S$250, cats S$130 to S$150, rabbits S$70 to S$90, guinea pigs S$65. An express bath is S$25 to S$35 for a small dog. Removing undercoat or mats is listed at S$30 to S$500, depending on how severe it is.

In a post dated 12 March 2026 it says all of its outlets have CCTV installed and that its staff go through regular training and reviews on animal handling. Its home page says it has pet safety procedures that it updates regularly, and that it keeps owners updated during the grooming, from the checks before it starts to the photographs at the end.

The Pets Workshop is fourth: ACRA shows its company incorporated in 2018, though its site dates the business to 2021. The Singapore Kennel Club's list of appointed grooming establishments names it, with an appointment that runs to 31 December 2029.

It grooms dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs at 4 salons and publishes rates for each kind of pet, from S$40 for basic grooming of a small dog. On safety it is specific: it states that every outlet has CCTV, and at Telepark cats are groomed in a space of their own. The pages read give no opening hours, so ask the salon you choose.

5. Nekomori

Best for Cat owners who want a cat-only salon and to watch the grooming

Its site says it was established in 2019 as a cat-only grooming salon. The pages read name no company. ACRA's dataset shows Neko Pte. Ltd., whose activity is given as cat grooming, incorporated on 1 October 2019, and companies named after Nekomori's salons, among them Neko Kampong Bahru Pte. Ltd. and Neko Malu Malu Pte. Ltd., incorporated in March 2024 at the same registered address.

AVS's list of licensed pet boarding facilities, updated on 1 September 2026, shows Neko Malu Malu Pte. Ltd. licensed to board cats at 59D Jalan Malu Malu, the address of Nekomori's Malu-Malu salon. AVS, the Animal & Veterinary Service of NParks, licenses pet boarding; it does not license grooming.

The Singapore Kennel Club's list of appointed grooming establishments, read on 8 October 2026, does not name Nekomori. Its site says its Signature Groom is carried out by SKC-certified groomers.

Grooms cats only. Its locations page lists 5 salons: Kampong Bahru, Jalan Kayu, Jalan Malu-Malu, Brighton Crescent and Holland Village, the last inside a Pet Lovers Centre shop. Its FAQ page lists Serangoon North in place of Holland Village. It gives its hours as 10am to 7pm daily; the FAQ says the salons other than Jalan Kayu and Malu-Malu are closed on Tuesdays. Its groomers also visit homes for basic grooming.

Publishes its salon rates: Express Groom S$60, Essential Groom S$70 to S$90, Classic Groom S$100 to S$120 and Signature Groom S$150 to S$190. Its FAQ says charges for undercoat removal and de-matting may be added.

Takes a deposit of S$40 a cat, or S$80 when transport is arranged, which is set against the final bill. Its FAQ says an appointment may be cancelled or moved with at least 2 days' notice, failing which a late-cancellation fee of S$40 applies, and that bookings with transport cannot be cancelled, only postponed. Its terms ask that a cat have had its full FVRCP vaccinations or a booster within the past 12 months, or a titer test in that time.

Says its salons are for cats only and free of dogs. Its FAQ says it keeps an open-door policy: clients may walk in to see cats being groomed, and an owner may stay and watch a session from a viewing area.

Nekomori is fifth: the company matched to it, Neko Pte. Ltd., was incorporated in 2019, the year its site says the salon was established. It is the only groomer on this page that takes cats alone.

It lists 5 salons, publishes four set grooms from S$60 to S$190, and sets out its booking terms in figures: a deposit of S$40 a cat and a S$40 fee for cancelling with less than 2 days' notice. Its FAQ says owners may watch from a viewing area. The pages read name no company, so the UEN shown rests on ACRA's records and on AVS's boarding list, which shows a company named after its Malu-Malu salon licensed at that salon's address.

6. The Grooming Angels

Best for Owners who want the groomer to come to their home, with the fees set out beforehand

Its site says its groomers have offered house-call grooming in Singapore since 2018. ACRA's dataset shows The Grooming Angels Pte. Ltd. was incorporated on 14 December 2021, registered at East Coast Road, where its salon is.

The Singapore Kennel Club's list of appointed grooming establishments, read on 8 October 2026, does not name The Grooming Angels. Its site says its groomers are SKC-certified.

Grooms dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, at the owner's home or at its one salon in East Coast Road. Its FAQ describes it as a mobile grooming service and gives the hours as 10.30am to 6pm daily. For a house call the groomer brings the equipment, and the owner provides a space, a power point and towels.

Publishes its rates. Small dogs under 5kg: bath S$30, express groom S$40, basic groom S$50 to S$60, full groom S$100 to S$110. Medium dogs of 5 to 14.9kg: basic groom S$60 to S$70, full groom S$120 to S$140. Large dogs of 15 to 24.9kg: basic groom S$70 to S$90, full groom S$150 to S$200. Short-coated cats: basic groom S$90, full groom S$140 to S$150. A house call adds a fee of S$30, or S$80 outside office hours and on major public holidays. De-matting and undercoat removal are charged at S$10 for every 5 minutes, and a pet that needs two groomers carries a surcharge of S$80.

Takes a deposit of S$30 for a house call, set against the bill; its FAQ says a salon booking without transport needs none. A booking cancelled or moved less than 48 hours ahead forfeits the deposit, and with longer notice it gives store credit, not a refund. Its salon terms ask that a pet have been vaccinated within the past 12 months, and say a muzzle will be used if the groomer judges it necessary.

The Grooming Angels is sixth because its company is the youngest on this page, incorporated in December 2021, though its site says its groomers have made house calls since 2018.

Its FAQ calls it a mobile grooming service: the groomer comes to the home for a fee of S$30 on top of the grooming rate, and there is also a salon in East Coast Road. Its rates are published by weight for dogs and by coat for cats, from S$50 for a basic groom of a small dog, and its deposit and cancellation rules are written down. The Singapore Kennel Club's list does not name it; the site says its groomers are SKC-certified.

Questions readers ask

What does pet grooming cost in Singapore?
All six groomers on this page publish prices. Among the five that groom dogs, basic grooming of a small dog, without a haircut, is listed at between S$40 and S$68. Full grooming, which adds the haircut, is listed at between S$80 and S$150 for a small dog, depending on the groomer and the style of cut, and runs up to S$298 for a large dog. For cats, the three groomers that publish a basic and a full rate list basic grooming at between S$65 and S$108 and full grooming at between S$130 and S$198; the cat-only salon prices four set grooms from S$60 to S$190. Expect extras. Four of the six put a figure on removing mats or undercoat: S$50 an hour at one, S$10 for every 5 minutes at another, and ranges of S$20 to S$100 and S$30 to S$500 at the other two. A house call is listed at S$30 by one groomer and S$80 by another, on top of the grooming. Two say the price depends on what they find when they see the pet, so ask for the likely total, extras included, before the grooming starts.
How do I choose one?
Start with the pet. One groomer on this page takes cats only, two groom only dogs at present, and three take dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. Then decide where: three of the six will send a groomer to your home, one of them for basic cat grooming only. After that, compare how each one handles animals, because that is what AVS's rules are about. AVS, the Animal & Veterinary Service of NParks, updated the pet groomers annex to its Code of Animal Welfare on 3 October 2026. The annex says an animal must not be left unattended at any point during grooming, and that staff must keep physical supervision at all times, particularly on grooming tables, in bathing areas and during blow-drying. So ask who will be with your pet, where it waits before and after, and whether you may watch. The entries here differ: one groomer says owners may watch from a viewing area, one says owners should not stay, and one says every outlet has CCTV. The Singapore Kennel Club's list names two of the six; it is a private club's appointment, not a licence, so treat it as one fact among several.
What should I check before booking?
First, who you are dealing with. There is no licensing regime for pet groomers in Singapore, so there is no licence to look up. Every entry on this page shows the groomer's UEN, the Unique Entity Number, which you can look up free on ACRA's BizFile search to confirm that the business is registered and live. Second, what AVS's annex for pet groomers requires. It says a groomer must discuss your pet's medical history, vaccination status and behaviour with you before grooming, explain the risks and what will be done in an emergency, and keep records of each session for at least 2 years. It says a groomer who is not a veterinarian must not carry out dental scaling or polishing. It says a groomer who keeps animals overnight must hold an animal boarding licence, and AVS publishes its list of licensed boarding facilities. It also says pet grooming may not be run as a business in an HDB flat. AVS says a failure to meet the annex's minimum standards may be used as evidence in a prosecution under the Animals and Birds Act. Third, the money. Ask whether a deposit is taken and when it is forfeited; two groomers on this page publish a deposit and a cancellation rule. If you are offered a prepaid package, ask in writing when the credits expire.
